Local Area Unemployment Statistics
The Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program is a federal-state
cooperative effort that develops monthly estimates of the labor force, employment, unemployment,
and unemployment for the state, metropolitan areas, counties, selected cities, and
regions.

November 2020
Estimates prepared by the Alabama Department of Labor in
cooperation with the Bureau of Labor Statistics, based on 2019 benchmark.
