Local Area Unemployment Statistics
The Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program is a federal-state
cooperative effort that develops monthly estimates of the labor force, employment, unemployment,
and unemployment for the state, metropolitan areas, counties, selected cities, and
regions.
